Transfluid’s partnership with Kleeman GMBH

In the early 90’s Transfluid began to develop the line of drain type fluid couplings for Diesel engine applications called KPTO. In this time more than 5500 units  has been installed in many different applications but the main one is mobile recycling machines like crushers, wood chippers, tub grinders, shredders.

The last important success in this field has been achieved with Kleemann GmbH (Wirtgen Group – Germany), the prestigious and market leader company. Since 2013 they are using the 19 and 21 KPTO on their line of jaw, cone and impactor crushers.

Kleemann appreciated all the advantages of the KPTO fluid coupling on such kind of heavy duty machines after a very intensive tests on the field, simulating all the possible extreme duty conditions, supported by Transfluid’s engineering staff as well in designing and installation of the units into the machines as on the field tests.

The result is a very performing machine with high productivity and low fuel consumption  having the guarantee of a reliable product in the most critical item of the drive line.

The high reputation of  KPTO on the market and the Transfluid’s worldwide service network were the final ingredients supporting Kleemann’s decision to standardize the KPTO on their machines.
