BELLMARINE POWERS THE FIRST FLEET OF ELECTRIC BOATS IN VIETNAM
Phu Quoc, Vietnam – Bellmarine has supplied electric propulsion systems for a fleet of 6-passenger excursion boats, manufactured for Vinpearl’s new project called Phu Quoc United Center, Vietnam’s largest 1,000 hectares theme that open on April 21, 2021.
The Bellmarine water-cooled DriveMaster 7W motors are powering 15 eight-meter wooden gondolas built by the COHACO shipyard in Hoi An City. The managing director of Marine Supply Vietnam, Ta Minh Hieu reports “The simple plug and play installations, good system performance, prompt technical support from Bellmarine are what we like best. The boats are quiet and run without hitches from day to night. With the implementation of this system for Vinpearl, we are also thrilled as it will certainly help them reduce operating and maintenance costs as well as significantly contribute to the protection of the marine ecosystem by replacing fuel-driven engines with electric motors. “
