<p>The RBD drives are designed for industrial engines in stationary applications such as generators, pumps and compressor sets. Mobile applications include forklift trucks and earth-moving equipment.</p>
<p>RBD elastic couplings have many advantages:<br />
ease of assembly, weight and size, small axial profile and competitive price. Drives are also supplied with standard SAE flanges for ease of installation.</p>
<p>These rubber couplings are also available in the SRBD version: the RBD complete with SAE or DIN 5480 finished hubs and selected SAE flanges to facilitate a complete solution at a competitive price.</p>
<p>Atex certification is available too.</p>
<h3>CONFIGURATION OF RBD ELASTIC COUPLINGS</h3>
<p>Couplings can be provided:</p>
<ul>
<li>with or without hub</li>
<li>with spline or keyway</li>
<li>with conical locking coupling</li>
<li>with housing for hydrostatic drives</li>

<h3>TECHNICAL CONSTRUCTION OF TRANSFLUID’S SHAFT COUPLINGS</h3>
<p>The drive principle uses internal and external teeth; the only difference is that the external teeth are blocks of special rubber molded compounds.<br />
The external ring, in aluminum, has a profile corresponding to the rubber molded compound and can be directly mounted on the output flange of the prime mover.<br />
By this method it is also possible to absorb small angular and radial misalignments.</p>

<p>The spring-loaded SL brakes are designed for all applications where a fail-safe brake is required.<br />
The brake consists of a hydraulic assembly, a plate assembly and a driven hub supplied by TRANSFLUID upon request or manufactured by the Customer.</p>
<h3>SL BRAKES OPERATION</h3>
<p>SL brake is a hydro-mechanical device that is Spring Loaded and hydraulically released.<br />
A spring load exerts a compressive force between steel plates, which are mounted on the rotating shaft, and sintered plates mounted in the gear tooth ring.<br />
When oil pressure is applied, the spring load is relieved and the plates are free to move axially on the shaft hub allowing free rotation of the shaft.<br />
The brake is re-applied by releasing the oil pressure.</p>

<p>The RANGERMATIC is a multi-speed power shift transmission available in one, two or three speeds forward and one or two speeds reverse. Designed for industrial applications it provides quick and smooth reversing and easy gear selection on the go.</p>
<p>Consisting of a double gear train, actuated by self-contained hydraulic clutches it connects to the engine through a wide range of hydrodynamic single-stage torque converters. The torque converter is selected to optimize the driven machine&#8217;s performance.</p>
<p>Additionally, this multi-speed power shift transmission eliminates the mechanical connection between the engine and the driven machine allowing smooth power transfer. The hydraulic clutches are operated by a hydraulic selector, electrically actuated, with built-in a patented “soft shift” device.</p>
<p>The RANGERMATIC gearbox is also available for marine applications with an RBD elastic coupling on the input side instead of a torque converter.</p>

<p>The Management system MPCB is a device developed by TRANSFLUID, both in the hardware and software, to manage the solenoid valves and speed sensors to automate the gear shifting; it also plays the role of diagnostic for the whole TRANSFLUID transmission.</p>

<p>The REVERMATIC is a power shuttle transmission specifically designed for industrial applications requiring quick directional reversing and smooth clutch engagement.</p>
<p>The powershift transmission consists of a hydraulically activated gear unit, the forward and reverse multiple disc clutch assembly are mounted on the layshaft and input shaft respectively . They are operated by the hydraulic selector, electrically actuated, with a patented built-in “soft shift” device.</p>
<p>The transmission input shaft is connected to the engine flywheel through a single-stage torque converter which is selected in accordance with the engine rating and required transmission vehicle performance, thanks to its characteristics, it eliminates the mechanical connection between the engine and driven machine allowing smooth power transfer.</p>
<p>The REVERMATIC Power shuttle transmission is also available for marine applications with an RBD elastic coupling instead of a torque converter on the input side.</p>

<p>The HTV700 industrial hybrid system by TRANSFLUID is made up of the following TRANSFLUID products:</p>

<li>Power shift with SAE B power take-off</li>
<li>Electric machine that can operate as electric motor or electric generator</li>
<li>Powershift gear system, three speed forward, one speed reverse Powershift transmission</li>
<li>Electric selector control with unit with integrated soft-shift capability</li>
<li>Two or four wheel drive drop-box, available with a wide range of reduction ratios</li>
<li>Spring loaded, hydraulic opening,  wet disc parking brake</li>
<li>brake control solenoid valve</li>

<p>The HTV700 industrial hybrid system enables you to use vehicles in limited traffic areas, ensuring zero emission mobility, while satisfying the vehicle’s power needs when standing still for long periods and recovering the  power released for braking, driving downhill or even just slowing down. All this ensures substantial savings in terms of fuel consumption.</p>
<p>The HTV700 offers the SAE4 bell coupling inlets and outlets; the maximum input torque is 300 Nm (222 lb-ft), the maximum input power is 95 kW (127 hp)  with a maximum speed of 3000 rpm and overall weight of 245 kg (540 lb).</p>
<p>The HTV700 industrial hybrid system can be installed on new vehicles or retrofitted to on-the-road vehicles, thus enabling both industrial and commercial vehicles to be brought up to standard with the most recent and ever more stringent laws governing environmental emissions.</p>
<p>The system is so compact it can be used on multiple applications and fitted in different ways. It is so flexible that it makes the vehicle unique in its kind and perfectly usable in limited traffic areas without causing acoustic and atmospheric pollution. As well as all this, it ensures a reduced fuel consumption of 20% while driving on combustion engine power.</p>

<p>The management system MPCB is a device developed by TRANSFLUID, both in the hardware and software, able to manage the different functionalities (modes) of the hybrid system: Diesel, Electric, Booster and Generation, as well as integrating the information of other components and supervising the overall diagnostic system.</p>
